Drs. Michael and Susan Semmler

Dr. Michael Semmler graduated from the University of Nebraska with a degree in Biology. Dr. Susan Semmler is a graduate of Texas A&M with a biomedical science degree. Both doctors received their doctorate from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 1994.

As residents of Hot Springs Village since 1996, they have seen the Village grow and prosper, just as our practice has!  Our new facility was completed in 2008, and includes new instrumentation and plenty of space.  

They have two wonderful boys, Jonathan and Jacob.  You will see both of them active in their school band, and love playing with their dog, Rudy!

Dr. Amanda Moore

Dr. Mandy joined our practice in 2012.  She received her Bachelors Degree in Chemistry and Biology at Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. She was a 2000 Cum Laude Honor Graduate. Her education continued in Tahlequah, Oklahoma at Northeastern State University College of Optometry where she received her Doctorate of Optometry in 2005.  There she received excellent clinical experience in the diagnosis, treatment and management of eye disease.  She was a member of Beta Sigma Kappa Honor Society and a Cum Laude Honor Graduate.  While there, she also received the NSU Honor Society Award 2002-2005. She is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Arkansas Optometric Association.

Dr. Moore-Elcyzyn and her husband, Dr. Tim Elcyzyn, OD moved to Hot Springs Village from Benton in 2012, where she had practiced for the previous 6 years. They have a cocker spaniel named Macy that they love to spoil.   She and her husband also enjoy traveling, cooking, spending time outdoors and watching Razorback Football!

Linda Griffith

Linda has been in the eye care field for over 20 years. She has experience with filing insurance since the inception of medicare in the late 1960's. She is skilled in the filing of all insurances, which is no small feat!  She keeps our office running as smooth as possible.

Don't forget to ask about her granddaughter!  

Velda Duncan

Velda began in the eye care field in the mid 1980's as part of an eye surgical team. After assisting in eye surgery for 11 years, she began working in the actual eye care office and has been doing so for over 18 years. She has been certified by the American Board of Opticianry.

She has been our lead patient technician since 1999, and had been an integral part of patient care.  She also gets the award for the most mis-pronounced name!

Lonnetta Collier

Lonnetta is a full-time optician, and has been with our practice since 2003. She is well-versed in all aspects of eyeglass frames and lenses. She now has automated instruments in her on-site laboratory to ensure your eyeglasses are accurate and of the best quality. She can often provide eyeglasses while you wait.

Don't forget to ask her about her grandkids!  We love hearing all her funny stories!

Tonya Speers

Tonya is a vital part of our reception staff and will help you when you arrive. She will help you with the registration process and can gather any insurance information you may have. Call her any time to make your appointment.

She sometimes brings the best chicken salad and also "monkey bread" to the office.  We love it!

Roxanne Wenglikowski

Roxanne has been a member of our eye care team since 2008.  She has been part of our front desk team, has been trained as a patient care technician, and is also well-versed in opticianry.  With so many skills, she is able to help patients with virually any eye care problem!  She is kind of like an eye care team Swiss Army Knife!

Courtney Egleston

Courtney has been a member of our team of technicians since 2009.  She performs a vast number of tests for patients, and with the automated instruments in the office, she makes the patient's examination a much more efficient process.

Kysha Dunnavant

Kysha joined our staff in 2013 as part of our patient care technician team.  She is trained to perform a vast number of tests and measurements, and also makes our patient exam experience more efficient and more accurate.  She can even fix squeaky door hinges!
